Step 2: Complete the change-of-agent form. Available through the South Dakota Secretary of State at sdsos.gov. Enter your entity name, state ID, and the new agent's details.

Step 3: Pay the filing fee. $10 online or $25 by mail. Paid directly to the state.

Step 4: Verify the update. Check your entity record on the Secretary of State website to confirm the new agent information appears correctly.
